Plastic Lattice

What is Dimensions™ Plastic Lattice made of?

Dimensions Plastic Lattice is made of injection-molded plastic. It features a wood grain pattern on both sides.

What colors and styles does Dimensions Lattice come in?

Dimensions Plastic Lattice is available in 2 different 4' x 8' or 2' x 8' Classic Diamond styles, and 2 different 4' x 8' Privacy styles, which have smaller openings. The Classic Diamond styles and the Privacy Square are available in white. The Privacy Diamond and cap and divider mouldings are available in 12 colors (white, almond, brownstone, khaki, gray, clay, cedar, redwood, dark brown, black, light green and dark green).

Will Dimensions Plastic Lattice rot, splinter or decay like wood?

No. When installed according to Dimensions' instructions and under normal use, it will not peel, pit, rot, blister, warp, crack, corrode or be consumed by insects.

Can Dimensions Plastic Lattice be painted?

Yes. We offer paintable lattice in our Classic Diamond and Privacy Diamond styles. Paintable cap and divider mouldings are also available. Our paintable plastic lattice has been formulated to allow exterior plastic paints to adhere to it. See our painting tips for additional details. We do not recommend painting our standard Dimensions lattice as most paints will not adhere to the surface and will rapidly peel.

Do I need special tools to install Dimensions Lattice?

Conventional tools can be used to cut, drill and fasten Dimensions Plastic and Wood Lattice. For your safety, wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

What type of fastener is recommended?

Use #8 ss sheet metal screws for best results.

Does Dimensions Lattice require gapping?

Yes. Like all plastic building materials, Dimensions Plastic Lattice will expand and contract with temperature changes. A ¼” gap is required on all sides of the panel to allow for thermal movement. Find additional installation tips in product literature.

What can I do if my lattice bows?

Loosen attaching screws and ensure enough space is allowed for expansion and contraction.

Can Dimensions Plastic Lattice be installed lying flat?

Dimensions Plastic Lattice is not recommended for applications in which it will lie flat, such as the overhead panels on an arbor or pergola. Hang lattice upright and attach to a self-supporting structure or frame. Refer to our installation tricks for more information.

How do I clean Dimensions Plastic Lattice?

Periodic rinsing with a garden hose is typically all that's required to remove surface dirt, pollen and debris. To remove ground-in dirt, clean with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.

Will Dimensions Plastic Lattice fade?

No, Dimensions Plastic Lattice is UV-stabilized, so it resists fading in the sun.
