Reclaimed Pallet Board How-To Project: A Sunny Boho Hanging Shelf
Posted 02/15/2019 by The Dimensions™ DIY Team
Last time we hung out together, we talked all about the how-tos of the bo-home. We looked at its essential elements,
like natural materials, rattan and sisal combined with warm metallics and jewel-toned colors. We saw fringed,
tasseled, crocheted and pom-ponned décor thrown comfortably over vintage and shabby chic pieces, and the
importance of plants and life-affirming imagery. Inspired, we decided to build a simple, happy little boho hanging
shelf out of reclaimed pallet boards.
We really dig this easy DIY project. The only thing that gave us a few minutes of trouble was adjusting the ropes to
get the shelf level, but that's what we're here for! To make all the mistakes first so you don't have to! See how we
accomplished all of this and more in our video and how this great little project creates a truly original piece in
less than a half hour.
This cute little shelf just screams boho. And if you really want to amp up the look, add unique plants like cactuses
or succulents. They don't require as much water as other plants whose frequent watering can add unwanted weight.
Let us know what you think! We really enjoyed how fast and easy this project was!
